August 3, 200718 yr Hi! I am wondering if doing Swan Song to catch monkfish for money and fishing xp would be worth it. I was thinking it woul dbe, but I want your opinions! Would Monkfish sell better Raw or Cooked? and Do you catch them at a decent rate at 62 fishing? Or is it better to wait? Any and all help is appreciated! August 3, 200718 yr I don't know how to answer the other questions, but doing Swan Song to catch Monkfish is definately worth it. "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. Instead, we are doing this for the good of the game, which is as dear to our hearts as it is to you."- JAGEX, December 13, 2007
August 3, 200718 yr It is worth it. Especially to train fishing, they give better experience than sharks. As for cooking them, they give less xp than sharks. BUT, sell them cooked to people in Edgeville, it's an excellent PKer food. I use mine to train with :) Wolfy is Officially Retired.I miss you all (Well, mostly my friends n stuff)If you want to talk to me, send me a message, I check the boards daily. :D

August 4, 200718 yr I definitely recommend it :). Awesome exp, and good demand. Awesome training food :). Good all around :D! Yay!
August 4, 200718 yr Although at these levels it's quite slow to catch them, the exp compensates for it, and you'll get good food for selling/training. This signature is intentionally left blank.
August 4, 200718 yr Monkfish is a suitable Fishing and Cooking training method that allows you to train both skills at almost the same pace. The area also has a high quest requirement to enter, so you don't need to deal with autoers/macroers over fishing the place and making the fishing spots jump around more. Plus, it's a nice, quiet spot where you don't have to listen to immature players polluting the place with message spam.
