Are there any easy, cheap ways to produce Super compost? :-k

buy pineapples from a merchanter (those at boat) - they stock 15 and the pinapples are 15 gp ea if I remember correctly..

5 plants, and i think they give 5 pineapples each.. so its 25 total

They have 6 pineapples, but take awhile to regenerate. I believe the plants you find lying around the game give only one pineapple each.

 

 

 

I also pick the plant on the ape atoll agility course whenever I'm training, generally come away with enough for a load of compost.

 

 

 

Also, if you do Garden of Tranquility you'll get a potion that turns a bin of normal compost into supercompost (only usable 4 times though).

The charter crew sell pineapples for only 5gp each and in Catherby they are very close to the bank. Not worth the trouble to pick them up in Karamja, unless maybe if you have your POH over there.

 

 

 

The alternative to Charter crew is Grand Tree where the two grocery shops are selling pineapples even cheaper (but they only have 10 in store though). The bank is on the same level as the shops.

 

 

 

If you really want to go cheap, pick up jangerberries on the Giants Island east of Castle War. Bring a rope to use on the tree's longest branch and a ring of duelling to get back to CW. (Yes, jangerberries can be used to make super compost as well as tree roots, avantoe and herbs above and coconut shells).

Aren't there a lunar spell i can toss on the patches to produce S compost ?

Correct, the Fertile Soil spell can be used to treat the patch of choice with super compost.

Please note lunar magic will not produce super compost by itself... It only makes the soil super-fertile. With that spell there is no needs to make super compost any longer! 8-)

What you mean about that? :shock:

Meaning you cast it on a patch, and then the patch has super compost on it.

 

 

 

You can't, say, use it to fill buckets with compost.
