September 3, 200718 yr To be blunt, I find most of the hardcore i've heard seems to be kids trying to make their music sound harder than it actually is. The older stuff is better, Sick Of It All for example :) Oh and, on the subject of happy hardcore - first of all, sorry to be harsh but please p*ss off posting dj cammy, he does not represent happy hardcore and he never has. Real happy hardcore came about in the early 90s; take this classic for example. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=L60WtKz9Mgk The new "happy hardcore" is just absolute commercial dribble and doesn't even deserve the name. It's mostly listened to by people who have no idea who N-Trance, Vinylgroover, Slipmatt etc even are "but dat don mata cuz dis tunez phat!!" etc. Oh and gabber's ace. Ophidian's "Betrayed By Daylight" album is one of the best CDs i've ever heard. 8-)
