First off, if you can't draw, back away now. This competition has very specific needs so you'll just be wasting your time.

 

 

 

A little background first, after march i am setting up a record label. A few months back me and a friend were drafting ideas and he came up with a logo for me :

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The whole label is based around a personal joke, ie the pigeon strapped to the firework. However, i've run into a problem - i found a place that will sell t-shirts for me. They earn profit, i earn profit - but the current design is far too jagged to go onto a t-shirt. This is where you come in.

 

 

 

I need someone who can completely remake the logo with much more smooth edges. It needs to look the same as it currently does. It needs to be perfect.

The image needs to be around the size above, or if you use vectors and supply a .psd that would be awesome too. Feel free to trace the above image using shapes, anything to get the image i want. The image must be 300dpi

so basically we use that pic not altar it just make smooth edges?

you could use the original image and just smooth the edges over, but i would recommend redrawing it using shapes as it would probably be easier.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One more thing - no gradient shading. The colours need to be flat like they are in that picture, ie the rocket is 2 shades of red and no more.

So about 1000 x 1376. It might seem a lot but you can just zoom out to like 25% and draw it as you usually would.

something like how many pixels there are per inch. you can change it in photoshop easily i believe. all i know is that it makes the picture better quality and the guy who makes t-shirts says it has to be 300dpi :wink:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Imperfections will be dealt with via MSN after payment once you have posession of the .psd so you can accurately check for them.
