I've never gotten the Saradomin mage before though... Just bring the clue, dds, and spade. Use protect from magic to kill him. When bringing your whip (or your weapon) do not wear it until you dig or els people will think you're pking. I recommend you do not bring worthy items unless you wish to. Cheap stuff, easily replaceable if I die. But I know that you have to kill the wizard before you can get the casket. meol Posted August 9, 2007 Share Posted August 9, 2007 The biggest danger of getting clues in the Wildy are Pk'ers, not the Zammy Mage. As long as you can weild a dds and can protect from mage, you'll be absolutely fine against him. However, Pk'ers are more dangerous. Firstly, you'll want to keep your clue/chest if you die, and you don't want to lose the valuable 3rd age armour you got from it, so, never open a chest in the wilderness. Also, bring as few items as possible, and if attacked, drop the spade, and the sextant, as they are easy to replace, and pray protect item (otherwise drop the watch as well).
