Edit: Wow... I should really stay away from the suggestion topic when I'm in such a state of exhaustion. Thanks to those who didn't flame. And no, this isn't a suggestion to make leveling easier. I'm not much of a pker, but it would be fun to go kill some random people for a slayer assignment. Now that I can actually think straight, I do see how this would be abused too many ways to be any use. Oh well, I'll leave the original post here, just so people can take a gander and laugh at me. Don't bump this though, just let it die. :D

Okay, so I was just talking to some friends when one of them started talking about a player killing skill. After some more discussion we realized it would be impossible, but what about just sticking it to slayer assignments?

 

 

 

The idea is pretty basic. Add "Human Controlled Players (HCP)" to the list of tasks you can get from a slayer master. The experience you would recieve would be recieved the same way (all at once at the end of a kill, half to who does most damage and half to who delivers the final blow), but instead of 1 expierence point per damger you'd get 4.5 (someone with 50 health would be 225 expierence). This would be a relatively uncommon task and the only kind with level requirements (like you'd have to kill someone over level 50 to count) would be from Duradel.

 

 

 

The players you'd have to kill would have to be from the wilderness (not sure if Duel Arena would work out well), and with some specifications even if they escape you'd still get experienece:

    [*:1hu9f9zr]If you get the player below 1/2 health and they teleport out, you get the full amount of experience.
     
    [*:1hu9f9zr]If you get the player below 1/3 health and they run and exit the wilderness (going to mage arena bank counts) within 3 minutes of the last attack, you get the full amount of experience.
     
    [*:1hu9f9zr]If the player heals and through one of the 3 methods of recieving full experience (killing with most damage and final blow or the 2 above situations), you get the experience, you also recieve 1 experience point for every point of health they healed.
     
    [*:1hu9f9zr]You wouldn't get experience from anyone on your friends list or in the same chat channel (at that moment) as you. Hopefully that would curb friends giving you free kills a bit, and it would already be annoying to die and then go out in the wilderness and die, etc.

 

 

 

This would be a more dangerous aspect of slayer, as player fights can be potentially harder than monster fights. You could also get some good drops, but also have more of your stuff in danger. This would also make the wilderness a bit more dangerous, because you'd never know if someone was on a slayer task and would kill you for no seemingly no reason (though that does happen now).

 

 

 

Let me know what you think. Just a little something I whipped up and in my state of fatigue I may have made somethings unclear and/or confusing, so let me know if something's not-so-clear. Also, if there's something I should add to make this idea work better, let me know.

No, just no. People could find to many ways to abuse it, by getting a high level friend to come so they can continually kill them and get loads of experience. I know you could always change it, but no.

It's a good idea, but if you get it you could just get a buddy to help you. You get him/her to half health. S/he teles, and you repeat, or s/he repeats so you both get exp. I know you stated that you can't get exp from a gy on your friends list/chat channel, so why can't they just remove each other? They can always add later.

 

 

 

And what if you get the other guy to 1/3 health, but you die? Then in the next 3 minutes the other guy walks to a bank to bank his loot? Would you still get exp when you lost?

 

 

 

Another thing, what if you pile someone? You and say 2 friends team up on a poor man in the wilderness, then who gets the exp if your all doing the task? Friend who hit the most? The others did hard work to and you can't split experience like you can with items. Split the exp evenly? Then what if someone only hits a 3 then stops attacking all together? Split exp based on what you hit? This would work out, but you'd get little experience compaired with soloing.

 

 

 

I'm sorry, but this idea isn't good. I like what its built upon, but the details don't work out.

Well this is just another one of those suggestions made to either:

 

Make the game easier on themselves, level up quicker, or just plain out stupid...

 

 

 

This is meant to lvl up yourself quickly, though it would be easier then those Water Fiend things i got assigned to kill... it would basically make it very easy, too easy.

 

 

 

So as for my response to this topic, 100% bad idea, though it has good thought, theres just to many ways it can be abused of.

I thought of that too, but that killing a friend over and over again destroyed it :wall:

 

 

 

Oh well, maybe do so that if you for example get a task of 10 Players you have to kill 10 different players, although then you could bring a clan or something I guess :wall:
