Guest
This is my first full space scene (meaning not a sig, lol): Yes, I used many tutorials. Yes, I used several resources from DevART. No, I did not rip them :P and yes, I am too lazy to link them at the moment and will most likely do so later. Comments always welcome, but keep in mind I'm not Nad (oviously):P EDIT: (Fixed the link, was the wrong one) Okay, the sig version is the same planet/moon from the sig I posted a few days ago, but I used the planet from the sig in the space scene, so one of them is the same :P I'm calling in the sig version of the space scene instead of the touched up version of that old sig as I think the nebula's are the main feature, and change the image totally. So it's kind of a mix :P. ~Cal

Jlr
Watch out Nad you may have some good competition in the future. That is one great scene. One of the best space scenes i have seen on this board. A lot like Nads work. Keep it up, id love to see future work! Jlr
Ryan
Sorry, but those planets were some of the resources you spoke about right? I mean nice placement on them and such, but I can't say it's really good when you didn't make them because they're what really stands out.

Which is an important part yes, but he still had much to do with the planet :)

I made the planets myself, but [as nad said] used stock textures and, at least in the center planet, did as much with it as I could (to make it seem like my own), I also used stock clouds. I'm in the process of learning how to make them myself, or at least edit them so they're almost unrecognizable from the stock, so hopefully in my next scene they will be my own. After the clouds and textures, I did everything on my own to make the planets themselves. LP- Okay. ;) Also, thanks for the comments Nad, Matthews, and Jlr. And Ryan :P. ~Cal
Guest
Yeah, looks nice. But I think you should add more in the blank space other than stars like another planet or some shooting stars etc. Keep it up :)
tttia
I like the look of it, the lighting is great ....but ...stock clouds? man...
NorthernHero
I made it my bacround image, nice work :) Reality is hundreds of times more beautiful and more interesting than delusions. Fairy tales just tend to be easier to follow than the wonderful intricacies of life.
