Whats the best way to defeat Arrg in Troll Romance? I've tried Wind Blast, he killed me.

 

 

 

I was going to try Range, but I didn't even get to turn on Protect From Melee before he killed me.

 

 

 

I have Level 59 Magic - would Fire Blast, constant Snaring and Protect from Ranged help?

Wear your best melee armor and pray Vs Range. Use a dds to get him started. bring xtra pray pots and best food, tuna pots heal 22, if not sharks.

i meleed him. bring a super set, dds, whip, 2 p pots, 1 click tele (just encase things get bad), and the rest tuna potatoes. to make those, bake a potatoe, add a pat of butter, cut up tuna with a bowl in your inv, add sweetcorn to the bowl, then use that mixture on your potatoe. it is the best food in the game. good luck

I can't use a whip yet, and I have no melee armour.

No melee gear? Ouch! You need it, believe me. And protection from range and a good melee weapon.

When I did that quest, ages ago, I brought a dds and a longsword, swordfishes as food, some attack and strength potions, and switched prayers so that he wouldn't hit me much. :oops:

 

 

 

You could try similarly, just bring a one click tele, just in case.
