WHAT 99

well any way i'll get to the topic :)

 

 

 

me and a friend have decided on a few 99 skills, 4 each he picked rc, fleatching, wc and fishing i picked rc and prayer for now

 

 

 

now you think ok right, well i am going for 99 rc on f2p where my friend is doing laws then nats

 

 

 

now i need help with it, i have gone for a 99 on f2p where as i had on members once (got 97) and i need tips how to do f2p style

Persistance. That's what I would say (and i sure don't have it) You can get there eventually.

 

 

 

And, just choose the best thing you can do, like for rc, I would suggest being an air crafter on the air runner world =D

 

 

 

That will get you tons of xp :) It's not the highest item, but you can do it so much faster than running yourself.

 

 

 

For prayer, buy bones and bury them. Just buy tons of big bones (or wait till members) And be aware that f2p prayer hasn't changed since members came out (and it was the last f2p skill to get a 99)

But you keep ALL the airs :) *if you are thinking you don't, that's not right... AFAIK*

 

 

 

If you get a decent amount of airs per run (4x+?) You can sell the airs back in bulk to pay for the running :D

yeah i was just trying to work it out

 

 

 

loss to me per runner is 2750 ( buy ess 30 each) i will get 150 airs back each time

Unless you do w16 airs for RC, and have 100M+ to spend on prayer, both of those will be virtually impossible on free play. I suggest getting members, if you insist on those skills. On members you can craft nats/guilded altar, making both prayer and RC infinitely easier.

 

 

 

Choosing prayer and RC may have been a mistake; those are two of the most arduous, difficult, and expensive skills. If you're looking for something impressive but decently easy, I would suggest a combat stat (99 att, str, def, etc.) or a useful, afk-able skill (fishing, woodcutting, etc.) 99 in combat stats on F2P is difficult but much more than possible if you afk in the Stronghold of Security, and fishing and wc fairly pretty easy (fly fish for fishing, or cut willows for woodcutting) and can both pay off well if you decide to become a member.

thanks for the input chess but its not that i can't afford members but my pc time is on and off at the min, i might get 2 hours 1 day and not go near it for 2 after that

 

 

 

my family pc blew and there using my pc you see, 6 people and 1 pc not good

 

 

 

 

 

but xmas i will get members i am hoping for 80+ in rc by then

99 Runecrafting is something that has not yet been achieved starting at level 1 Runecrafting would take you years on f2p. Also Prayer is too expensive, even on member's servers.

Then why pressure yourself to do so much? If you only get on for 1-2 hours a day, pick the skills you enjoy the most, because you WON'T be able to get them unless you thouroughly enjoy them.

yeah i love rc, prayer i would be happy with at level 50 on non members that will be good in its self.
