f2p training

Featured Replies

hey. i recently ran out of members and i want to try to get most of f2p skills very high or 99 before i (if ever) get members back.

Melee: ice giants/warriors

range: ankous or lessers

mage: alching

mining: powermine/get runners for iron

smithing: smelt and smith steel

fishing: fly fish near barb village

cooking: i dont know... maybe light fires outside bank?

wc: willows at draynor (i want to bank)

fm: fally east bank

crafting: no idea...

prayer: kill hill/moss giants and bury bones?

if i missed a skill... oops. it would be cool if someone could mention and give training advice for these skills and any others i may have missed. thanks.

For cooking you could cook lobsters on the range at edgeville across the bank

and for crafting whatever you can do with cowhides i guess

What does that suppose to mean?Lighting fire increases cooking?

If you have enough cash you can buy those cowhides. If not try killing them in crafting guild and tan them right away. After tanning them craft them to hard leather body and head to Rimmington to sell your hard leather body.Keep repeating this process until you get insane :XD:

You can also maybe train combat while killing the cows...

Also on alching, try checking out Tip.it's alching calculator.Seriously it will help you alot.I think the best thing to alch is green dragonhide body.

On smithing try joining a smelting company. Will help you reducing your time lost when finding buyers and sellers.

I think everything is okay.

Good luck

EDIT:

FYI cooking using range reduces your chances of burning food. You can try cooking the salmon and trouts you caught or you can buy lobsters and sell it at PKing world. But do take note selling in PKing world will take time.

I am sorry if I didn't help you with my post.

by that i meant light a fire outside a bank and cook on that. figured everyone would figure im not trying to train cooking by lighting fires lol. i dont burn food so its not a problem. thanks for the advice, ill be sure to try it.

thanks to you too Free_Steel1, but im thinking making bowls will take ages to get me up. i wish my draynor sig showed up... ill try to fix it.

I suggest cutting and burning willows at rimmington. It's much faster since you don't have to bank everytime and there is almost no competition.

- Back to casual f2p scaping due to limited time (university and girlfriend <3:) -

I say make Tiaras or use Cowhides for Crafting

For Cooking, lighting a fire outside a bank is great, or you can go to Draynor where there usually are people making them

Everything else sounds good

awesome, thanks everyone. one point about burning willows after cutting, though, is i was planning to sell the willows and possibly buy logs like maples so that i need to burn less logs for the same exp. there will be some money loss in there, but the hours saved is worth it in my opinion. i might even do a combination of the two because i like the fact that there will be little or no competition.
