It does, but the increase is incredibly slight, so much so that wearing a ROL would be a better choice. I die more often than i would get a rare drop more than likely (Thats why i stayed in the duel areana =P) so an ROL saving my guthans or whatever turned out to be the better choice.

 

 

 

Just because the increase is minor, doesn't mean it's not even there. It does increase drops, but it's so minor, that it has become slightly pointless.

In my experience you get better drops if while your character has on it's black mask, ring of wealth etc, you can improve your chances of a good drop by wearing an aluminium foil hat while playing RS. I made my own.

 

 

 

This prevents Jagex from reading your thoughts and interfering with your computer.

 

 

 

You do have an aluminium foil hat don't you? :shock:

I personally don't know whether the black mask improves your drops or not, as I only got mine today and haven't done any slaying yet. I think it is unlikely Jagex would make such an item do that without telling us though.

Tell me, is there any proof that the ring of wealth increases your good drops?

 

Jagex says so? I don't get why they would lie about it, it's just a game after all.

I think this is a valid point. Jagex probably judge the value of the drop in alch value, certainly not RS ecnomic value as this would be impossible to keep track of.

 

 

 

 

 

There is a ring you can wear but it's a bit hush-hush. The secret services have been testing it for a few months now and.... "What???" "Really???" Oh dang! I suck at this.
