using rune defender or rune kite in shield spot?

Rune Kite, the defender really doesnt give a good advantage there.

If you are using mage, I would equip a zammy pray book. Gives a mage attack bonus and prey bonus.

i would usualy bring shield, the defence bonus can save me using 3-4 sharks

kite. magic attack isn't important, you will hit anyway. more def = less food needed.

What do melee attack bonuses matter if you're maging most of them? Kiteshield is much better. :P

I use rune defender, but for people with lower defence levels and rune plate+legs, rune kiteshield is much much better. Or you could take both, and use rune kite on Torag, Guthan and Verac, and the defender for bloodworms/crypt rats.

i usually use a rune kite. slayer dart hits so often i don't need mage bonus.
