I have a 1988 honda trx 300 atv and the people that had it trashed the rearend.

The dealer wants $1,000 for a new 1.

So can anyone give me advice on where to buy the parts or a used 1 and how to get the input shaft out?

:-k :?

I dunno what you're talking about.

you mean you bought it with a trashed rear end? why'd you do that? or am I missing something....

I'm sure you can find somewhere to buy parts, try the phone book.

Or perhaps askon a motorbike forum from your area, might be a clever idea..

Please do not bump your topic just because you are impatient. Most users do not use these forums 24/7, so you have to give people time to reply. Also, please keep in mind that this is not a forum about motor vehicles, so you might have more luck getting a qualified reply from a forum aimed at that topic. :)

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

More specific?
