Poopingman Posted September 2, 2007 Share Posted September 2, 2007 I'll just answer it here. The issue is that amp is drastically more powerful than a typical setup that would utilize Type Rs. However, if you already have the amp, it can be done. Get the dual 4 ohm Type Rs. Wire one up to each channel @ 2 ohms so they receive 800RMS a piece (50 above their rating of 750, giving you some headroom to adjust gains and volume). And there you go, you should be louder than most, if not all typical street-bumper Best Buy systems. Metal fans, check out my band!Still the King.... Audiobahn subs are grossly overrated. Those can realistically handle around 700rms a piece. Metal fans, check out my band!Still the King....
