Real Electronica

[Futurama]

What i'm after here is electronic music, not the same commercial dance crap, but some electronica with real musical value.

 

 

 

I'm talking about artists such as Hybrid, Future Sound Of London, Sh*tmat, Hive, New Order, etc - i'm sure you get the picture.

 

 

 

Any recommendations? 8-)

aw, thanks guys, i feel so appreciated :

 

 

 

but anyway, Klayton (the vocalist) has been diong that for a good 5 years now. maybe longer. i love turning people on to his music, cause he deserves to be emensily famous.

 

 

 

might i suggest his song "switchback" ? its probly my favorite song of all time and no one's heard of it, and that makes me kinda mad

I don't listen to too much electronica, and I apologize if what I mention is part of the "dance crap".

 

 

 

Ratatat and M83, both really good bands. I listen to a bit of !!!, Hot Chip, and some other bands of the like.

 

 

 

With electronica music, I generally like it mixed in with other genres. Such as indie (PlayRadioPlay! or the Postal Service) or metal (HORSE the Band are pretty much it).
