The character is Kain, not cecil. Cecil would either be a black knight or paladin. That character is a Dragoon Lancer, which would make him Kain. Of course, I have only played the GBA form of the game, and not the PS remake (which sucked...they should have entirely remade the game...not put SNES graphics with CG cutscenes...) But the colouring of the armour is closer to Cecil's. He was a black night, but his armour colour was more purplish Also, when i ment a CG cutscean, the ps game's cusceans were only at the start and end, not the inbetween part.
