Enchanted ruby bolts - good against jad?

Featured Replies

Considering how powerful the special for enchanted ruby bolts can be, and how high hp jad is, could it be used as an effective weapon?

-Thanks,

By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .

They can only hit a 50 max on him, and you will take about 9 damage yourself, the special is kinda rare aswell. I dont think they would be good.

Well im not sure-when jad is at low hp (like 10 or so) bolt spec will hit 1s or 0s but drain your hp normally. It hits counting hp that are left not total hp level. so 20% may equal a 0.

Also, i tried farming once and my potatoes died, put me off forever.

dimond bolts would hit about the same at 99 range and wouldnot drain your hp and the spec is more common

Diamond bolts is your best option, as they can hit pretty hard, and pretty often specials.

Another tip perhaps if you get Jad trapped, is to use Mith (e) Poision.

Poisoning, and running to hide letting the poison drop him, might make the fight longer because your sitting there waiting for a few mintues hidden every once in awhile, but you can do more damage while not actually being in combat with him. So less chance to make a mistake.

Poison Special starts at 5 damage, and hits very often. (Normally 1 in every 3-5 hits specials)

I don't think that ruby (e)s would be good against Jad because of the chance of a mistake. If you mess up with 100+ hp, there's a good chance you'll survive. But if you mess up at 80 hp, you probably won't.
