If you are chopping for exp then switch to willows.

If you are chopping for money then you should learn the locations of all 23

yew trees in the F2P world.

You can do that by using the "Show" ability of the official RS world map

on the Jagex/RS home page. Select the "Rare Trees" option to make them flash.

Some spots to consider are : 4 NW of Rimmington, South of Fally, North of Port Sarim,

between Draynor Village and Lumby, Lumby Graveyard, Edgeville, south of Varrock,

around the Earth altar, next to NE Varrock church, and behind the Varrock palace.

Hope this help
