Ostriches and New Helmets!

Yes, I'm bringing back this idea, with new improvements!

INTRODUCTION:

My brother and I were wondering, how does the plume (ostrich feather) get on the helmet while making a helmet with bars? Answer: Make special "enchanted" helmets with a new hunter animal, the ostrich.

Helmet Idea.

The idea is this, when making full helms, you get the choice of making a finished or unfinished full helm.

If you choose finished, you get a regular full helm, but if you choose unfinished, you get the helmet without the plume. Why would you want this? Simple, you can make the helm enchanted.

Making the potion.

To make the potion to make the plume enchanted, you must have a level of 60 herblore. The ingredients are 1 vial with coconut milk, 1 kwuarm, 1 crushed pure essence(Use a pure essence on a pestle & mortar). This will make an enchanted potion.

Finishing the helmet.

Use the potion on the plume, and it'll become enchanted. With a crafting lvl of 5 for bronze, 17 for iron, 29 for steel, 35 for mithril, 51 for adamant, and 67 for runite, use the plume on the helmet, and it'll become an enchanted enter metal of helmet here helmet, which gives an extra +3 to all defense stats, a +1 to prayer and a +2 to strength.

*Also if wanted/desired, you may use a dye on the feather to change it's color.

Getting the plume.

To get the plume, you must hunt, yes hunt, ostriches. They are located in the desert(because that's the closest part of the runescape world to where they live), south of the shantey past. To see the location, look at this map:Ostrichmap.png

To hunt them you must have a lvl of 50 hunter, and they have there own way of catching them, Giant Lassoing (name up for discussion). Here is a picture of the new section and what it looks the ostrich looks like:Ostrich2.png

You would buy a giant lasso from any hunter shop for 500gp (price nagotiable(sp?)). You just use the lasso on the Ostrich to try to catch it.

Also, to make getting the plume alot, and I mean ALOT easier, you can make a special ostrich costume from 5 ostrich feathers for 10k at the fancy clothes shop in varrock. (again, price nagotiable(sp?)).

Thanks for reading, and for those who already read this the first time I made it, is it any better?

Helm of Neitznot (spelling?) is still better with prayer and strength (crush too), and that's all people care about). And why ostriches in the desert? Australia isn't a desert. Overall, I don't like the idea and think time used to make this could be better put to making new quests. :)

There are no ostriches in Australia. They live in Africa.

The whole middle part of Australia and a large section of Western Australia is desert. We have emu's and cassowaries, but no ostriches.
