So yes, I know the reply is more then a month old If the members of CIC (including reinstating any who left) were to put their heads together, how long would it most likely take to get a full list of the "must be done" items together? Do you mean how long it would take to make a list of things that should be done? Because with all of respect but we have done that months and months ago. I don't know where the tallest1 is atm, but you should ask him. I will put my personal guarantee that it will be looked at within 48 hours of its completion and will also see to it that any that, are possible, and reasonable, are done, or negotiated. I'm sorry, but that's crap. I repeat it again, all summer we have been placing ideas on that board. All summer we thought there would be done something with it but nothing happened. Some "brushing up" of the clan discussion has happened, but nothing we suggested about fundamental changes were implented. Weird when half the staff agrees on something, but it doesn't get implented. I keep repeating it, everything goes to slow around here. If you got too much work as admins, hire new ones. If you don't got enough mods, pick out new ones. A good example of "time consuming" and really pointless work are the mod trainee stuff. How long is it going now already? About 2 months since the apps started? Sheesh, the time & effort you put in reading all those -slimy- applications you could have easily look out yourself for suitable mods. Even the clan discussion coud have been revived in that time. I'm just saying, be smart. If the staff doesn't want an active clan discussion, fine by me but don't say you do. A fansite forum can easily have traffic without many people from clans, but don't pretend to want it then eh. Because me -and many others- have put a lot of effort in thinking out ideas, and I am really dissapointed nothing happened with those ideas yet. Hide behind your rank mrs, and keep telling lies. We have given lists, we have given suggestions but they got all ignored. You make it look like I left and I was unloyal to the CIC, guess what, I left because nobody had posted anything in 10 days there. Satenza Posted October 20, 2007 Share Posted October 20, 2007 I have to agree with Gamerr about both the CIC and the mod applications. In the two months that you neglected the CIC because of this moderator drive the CIC was just about getting somewhere. Obviously are months of work was not any sort of priority, even though it was an admin who asked for our help and you couldn't even dedicate an admin to drop by from time to time or do anything while these application things were being done, which was quite rude - in my opinion at least. Now is to late, we missed the boat when Corruption came back, then left again. Although i still wish goodluck to the remaining CIC members. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. I do think that the Clan boards do need a bit more of extra help. But wouldn't this suggestion be up to the Clan Administrator?
