ask your guidance counselor, a lot of schools sign up to different college search programs, mine has naviance. You may have something different, but hey, you never know

 

 

 

heres the list i made for myself (physics major):

 

 

 

 

p.s. you're lucky, we actually have a limit to how many credits we can get. Friend had to take gym over the summer (lol) to fit in another core class. I'm literally right on the edge :P

When I wrote advanced there I didn't mean AP, I just meant more difficult classes (and classes that offer 5.3GPA for an A+).

 

 

 

5.3GPA? :shock: Where i live there's both I.B. and A.P., but it's only weighted .5, not 1.3. :-s

 

 

 

In my highschool the GPA scale goes like this

 

Acedemic

A+ 4.3

A  4.0

A- 3.7

and so on..



Honors/AP

A+ 5.3

A 5.0

A- 4.7

and so on...

 

One of my freinds goes to a chicago public highschool and she can get a 6.3 for an A+ in an AP class :shock:

Last year, someone from my highschool went to college with 64 college credits from AP classes. =P~

 

 

 

And also, I don't have any location preference at all, and I'd be glad if you could show me what list I would get.

Since everyone's on the topic of GPAs, keep in mind that many colleges don't even weigh APs. An A+ is counted as a 4.0 and then down from there. Of course, the level of difficulty is considered, but it's not weighed in GPA calculation. Ivy League schools do GPAs in such fashion along with lots of other schools.

 

 

 

To the OP, I took most of those classes also, over the span of two years (honors and AP chem this year). Those APs were the easiest classes I have ever taken lol. The AP tests for calc were really a joke; it's kinda sad that it's even counted as an AP.

 

 

 

When you says honors and AP, do you do one year of honors and one year of AP, or, like my school, a half year of each?
