September 19, 200718 yr Hey, what are the best places for combat training in free worlds? my levels are: 71 71 71 :) 88cmb.. and i want to train it so it will be higher.
September 19, 200718 yr Ice Giants Lesser Demons Various Creatures in the Stronghold of Security. It is f2p so there really isnt anywhere to train that isnt well known.
September 19, 200718 yr Author Stronghold of Security. what's exactly meant by that noticed people saying it in other threads too, referred as SOS too
September 19, 200718 yr Underneath Barbarian Village there is a dungeon named "The Stronghold of Security" or SoS. It contains several small reward chests and many different types of monsters. On f2p you can go pretty much from level 10-120 here. It has different levels, and each level gets progressively harder with higher level monsters to train on.
September 19, 200718 yr Author the thingy under barbarian (sos as u call) doesnt have many of bots. Highest ones are goblins 42 lvl. And there are only few of 'em
September 19, 200718 yr The best cb training is defenetly at desert, at bedabin camp, alot of xp+that you don't need clicking on mosnters. Ranked as RS 3rd best Fogger of all times by Fog Elite, and is proud of it :)

September 19, 200718 yr The best cb training is defenetly at desert, at bedabin camp, alot of xp+that you don't need clicking on mosnters. It is in P2p, Det_er_meg5 didn't read the thread obviously. just remembered the dungeon with ice giants and ice warriors in it. Ill practise there, i dont even need to look at the screen they attack me automatically! cool They arent that good compared to the Stronghold. In the SoS, in order to get to the higher level creatures you must make your way to the middle and go down the ladder/vine/chain. Each time you go down you will be in a level of the stronghold which has stronger monsters. Here is a link to the map of the Stronghold of Security. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=stron ... ty_map.htm
September 19, 200718 yr I recommend you try out the flesh crawlers in north west corner of 2nd level of Security Stronghold. If you want a bit faster exp but drain food faster go ahead and go to 3rd level at giant spiders. [spoiler=Stats:]Updated December 22, 2011: Total level - 1442 - 170M+ XP , Combat level - 115Combat skills: Attack - 90, Defence - 99 (24.45m+ XP), Strength - 90, Constitution - 99 (16.42M+ XP) Ranged - 99 (13.32M+ XP), Prayer - 60, Magic - 99 (13.25M+ XP)Non-Combat skills: Cooking - 99 (13.80M+ XP), Woodcutting - 99 (31.95M+ XP), Fishing - 90, Firemaking - 99 (24.82M+), Crafting - 90, Smithing - 90, Mining - 85, Runecrafting - 60, Dungeoneering - 85
September 19, 200718 yr just remembered the dungeon with ice giants and ice warriors in it. Ill practise there, i dont even need to look at the screen they attack me automatically! cool Then your experience will be less per hour than at the SoS. (Drops will be better though) A few comments regarding other comments in this thread... Ice Giants and Lesser Demons are good for loot but they are harder to train on. By that I mean that exp per hour is less and they take a lot more food compared to SoS monsters. The Sos has 4 levels in it, (As CampbellMC said). The highest level monster on level 4 is an Ankou that is about as hard as a lesser or greater demon. The bedabin camp is in a members only desert. Players often make the mistake of thinking that you must change to higher level monsters as you, yourself, level up. That is true to a small extent but not nearly as much as players think. You earn melee exp according to MeleeExp = HitDone*4 The level of the monster doesn't matter. Hitting a 2 on a Lumbridge rat earns you 8 in exp. Hitting a 2 on a wildy Greater Demon earns you 8 as well. The GD is harder to hit and will damage you more than a lowbie. So training on a GD, LD, or IG will go more slowly and consume a lot more food compared to training on a lowbie. So, unless you want the better drops from GD's, LD's, or IG's, training is faster, cheaper, safer, and easier if you spend your time slaughtering lowbies. Now, since lowbies will drop pretty fast around you, you need a constant supply of them to maximize your rate of exp. So, you need either quick respawns or a small area crowded with them. The SoS has many rooms that are crowded with exactly those kinds of monsters. You can explore the SoS a bit and find a spot that offers good training. A couple of monsters are worthy of note. The minotaurs drop a lot of arrows. That's nice for eventually training Range. The Fleshcrawlers are auto-aggressive so training on them can be nice. Hope this helps
September 19, 200718 yr Author I love you, great information thanks. I never knew or understood where was SoS now i Do, after someone posted a link I played rs about 3 years ago, and there wasn't such a thing then! But now i found where it is! (started playing again about 3 days ago) Ill check the place better tomorrow, now im fiddling with my guitar and drinking water (-: Great comments, especially the last guy. THanks very much The bad thing about weaker ones are that you have to keep an eye on em all the time and keep pressing on other when u kill current one!
September 20, 200718 yr ...The bad thing about weaker ones are that you have to keep an eye on em all the time and keep pressing on other when u kill current one! Not if they auto-attack. The fleshcrawlers will auto-attack no matter what your level is. They will only stop when the anti-afk training timer goes off. In that case, just leave the area and return to start them auto-attacking you again. Hope this helps
