First go at abstract in a while. New sig

Featured Replies

Well as the title says, this is my first go at abstract in a while. Just wanted to see how rusty I was.

Didn't put this in my gallery, because it doesn't really go with the rest of my work.

Anyways, C/C plox?

Better? I think covering up the lens flare might have hid the singer to much, but I dunno.

Interesting, a strange mix of abstract and photmanipulation.

The text really stands out, thats good but I would prefer without it.

I dont know, its mysterious but with good colors. Maybe you could fix that flare, maybe just a black brush on lower opacy.

Why do you have to use small text which no-one can barely read. No point of having text if you do that geeze annoys me so god dam much. But yeah flame over. Don't really like it too plain IMO.

Get an eye test then? And maybe a grammar one too? :D

I assume the lens flare on the right was put in by you, either way I suggest removing it, as it distracts the eye.

I like the pattern on the left, it looks like the rainbow colours you get when petrol oil mixes with water.

All that I think it lacks is vivid colour. The ones currently on show are a little dark. :o

Not bad though. ^_^

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm gonna take what ya'll said and try to fix it up a little.

As for the lens flare, it was already in the photo, but I'll see what I can do to hide it.

no-one can barely read.

That's not good syntax.

Perhaps use the clone-tool to cover it up, rather than masking it with more pixels. It looks alot more intense, which I like.

Hmm.. I like it, but the figure looks like he(she?)'s just floating in space..

Also, I really don't like the coloring.. If your trying to create a new style of art then you're on the right track, for the most part it looks nice and it's different.

I think the 2nd version looks better; it's more exciting to look at.

The first one is pretty meh. Its really flat, has no depth and the color scheme is odd.

The new one however is much better. Good job on the colors, the focal point is nice and it isn't overdone. It also has a lot more depth.
