Do I need Balls of wool to string my gold ammys?

 

 

 

Here's what I plan to do.

 

 

 

 

 

1. smelt my gold ores into gold bars

 

2. make gold bars into gold ammys

 

3. use lunar magic to string them

 

 

 

 

 

I know it needs nats, astral runes,

 

 

 

but does it take balls of wool too?

 

 

 

 

 

P.s: is it better magic exp than high alch?

Although I have no experience with Lunar Magicks, I'm sure it does require a ball of wool.

What'd be the point of it if it required wool? According to Tip.it's Guide, the spell "Quickly strings all amulets in your inventory, without needing any wool. One set of runes is used for each stringing. (Also gives 4 crafting experience per amulet)"

I guess I never really thought of it...That's really handy if you have a lot of ammys.

2 astrals 10 earth and 2 water

 

 

 

looks like i have to buy

 

 

 

 

 

a mystic mudstaff ---> unlimited water+earth

 

a lot of astrals runes

 

 

 

 

 

83 exp per magic use - 83x27 inventory space = 2241exp per cast

 

 

 

 

 

very quick exp :S

What do u plan to do with a heap of useless gold ammys?

 

 

 

 

 

Your better off making gold bracelets

 

 

 

They give better craft xp AND they alch for around 30gp more than the cost of nat so can be high alched for profit along with mage xp
