Can someone tell me why theyre good exp.

High hitpoints, low defense, low maximum hit, don't hit often. Pretty much the standard for most "great" training monsters.

What nerdattack16 said, plus the fact they're aggro and respawn faster than you can kill them so theres always some there. There are two spots i know of (we're talking about Damis' lair ya?), so as soon as they become unaggro move to the next spot, and if it's already taken people usually don't mind switching with you to keep everything aggressive.

 

 

 

It's also kinda near a bank (fish guild/ardy) and not too packed because of the DT requirement.

 

 

 

I've never trained there as such but i do all of my skeleton alt. slayer tasks there, so have never really stayed there long, but they're good xp.

The main reason to train there is because you can use the salve amulet (e) which gives a 20% bonus to attack and strength. The salve amulet bonus only works on undead monsters. You can get it by doing the haunted mine quest and then doing a minigame (cant remember what it's called) to get it enchanted.
