qeltar
It is possible to melee them, but very difficult. You really need to have your skill levels in the 90s, and even then it is quite a slow process. After extensive testing, I determined several ways of using melee for the miths. One involves Karils and a d long in stab mode (don't use a whip, they have crazy high slash defence.) This works but is slow. A more advanced method uses Veracs armor, Piety and protection from mage. It is faster but more dangerous. Finally, there is full Veracs. This is the fastest but is VERY dangerous since you will take dragonfire hits of up to 35 at a time. You can find extensive guides and information in my comprehensive mithril dragons guide. ~q Qeltar, aka Charles KozierokWebmaster, RuneScoop - Premium RuneScape Information for Expert Players -- Now Free!Featuring the Ultimate Guide to Dungeoneering -- everything you need to know to get the most of the new skill!
