Barrows or double nats(money)?

Hey guys, i think this is actually my first post, but i just wanted some peoples opinions. :)

 

 

 

Basically i want to know which is a better money maker. Barrowing or double nat crafting.

 

 

 

I know you can make roughly 1m an hour crafting double nats(using abyss).

 

 

 

Now i know unless you get a good barrows item your probably not going to be making 1m in an hour( probably 5 trips for me). But then again if you get a helm of a brother within 2hours your doing ok or a spear in 5, etc.

 

 

 

Id prefer barrows as it is more fun but basically which do you think is better.

 

 

 

Also is it cheaper to use the slayer dart method and range ahrim or use the verac method and range ahrim?( not sure if you need a super att and str pot for it at 85,85 att n str, since these will be my stats when i start).

 

 

 

I know i don't have the levels yet but i'm just interested now.

Double Nature Rune crafting will be faster money.

 

With Barrows, it's all luck - you could do 100 dry trips and then you get a Karils Coif *Hooray*

 

Double Natures are very good money, So go with that.

Personally i used to do double nats, very slow always packed with people, you can at the most make 3k nats but that hardly ever happens i usally get 2k nats, well whatever it is its better than barrows although its the most boring thing to do !!!! i crafted 10k stopped never gonna do it again lol, since you look like a high level you should probs do barrows because ots fun ! btw welcome to the forums!

I'm preparing an extensive guide to the Barrows and in the process I calculated out the average expected profit from doing it efficiently. It works out to approximately 350k per hour. So double nats would be better, but it takes a long time to get to 91...

Single nats are already better money than Barrows (at least at my levels), so I doubt that (even at higher combat levels) you'll get more cash with Barrows than with the double nats (unless you are extremely lucky, but in that case you should be doing treasure trails for 3rd age armour :lol: ).

Barrows can exceed money/hr of double nats crafting, but the latter is definitely much more reliable source of income than the former.
