HL2 uses alot more resources and requires more out of your v card, so i'd say you might be able to play it with a playable fps (20-40) with all graphics settings on low. I can play CS:S on a Geforce 5200 and they are old. On topic: I have CS:S but I've been playing a lot offline because I've only had it a few weeks and I don't want to humiliate myself online so I just play against bots on hard until I can own them, then I'll start going online.
