meol Posted October 3, 2007 Share Posted October 3, 2007 I'd say it would be somewhat expensive on the earth/water side, seeing there's no mud staff in f2p, but you could still do it effectively if you are willing to pay the costs. But I'd rather do crumble undead under varrock sewers on the skeletons across the water. There may be a lot more hobgoblins, but they don't have magic defence like the monk of zamorak under stair in varry palace so in my opinion, they are worse. crumble undead might be faster, but chaos runes are a lot more expensive than the cost of one curse spell. However you get about twice as much exp fer cast. However there isn't many skeletons and you kill them fast so sometimes have to wait for respond. However when your curse actually hits the monk you have to wait 30 sec. However when the curse hits you can do weaken and curse. However if you do weaken or curse in time inbetween casts you don't get as much exp per body rune. However doing weaken and curse will make you use a more even number of water and earth runes. However the new shops came out so now they are the same price. Also when you become a member you can buy a mud staff and wont need earth and water runes.
