October 7, 200718 yr Hm...because they're the only way to make amulets and rings and that sort of stuff. They're mainly used for crafting I believe...and smelting. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
October 7, 200718 yr with smithgauntlets, 56.2 exp per gold ore, betetr than making rune bars. best way to train smithing. 99 attack-34,104th to 99 attack.
