curmudgeony
I'm thinking of taking a break from runescape for school. I have less then 4 million floating around my account, but I'm a bit worried that the value of gp will drop while I'm away. Anyone have any suggestion on a item (other then rares or treasure trails) to invest in that might increase in value while I'm away.
Master_Smither
Buy a robin or ranger boots because they seem to raise/steady out. I'd just keep the cash since you don't have enough for a "major" rare. Because alot of stuff with drop in price making your gp a bit more useful. My advice sell everything for cash unless u realy want to keep it. Omega_Squire
I can't think of anything that's not a treasure trails item or a rare that will be a good investment. I do, however, suggest maybe a pair of ranger boots, or some infinity boots; they seem to stay steady or increase. I hope this helps! Screechingmu
Since you can't really buy a rare with that low amount, the best idea would probably be to keep your cash the way it is, in gp form. Most items lower slowly in price, while rares are usually the only things that rise. So buying something like a whip or barrows armor is a bad choice for a long term investment. I've taken several breaks from Runescape and having cash is always good when getting back. The only really certain investment to increase is a rare. Just clean out your bank - sell what you can and keep essential stuff (like your favourite armour).
Core
Invest in christmas crackers, p hats, and santa hats. They are slowly dissapearing.
Klugsi
erm he has 4 m - not 400m+... anyways, ranger boots or kingdom of miscellania ranger boots go up cause most treasure trail hunters do lvl 3 scrolls and not lvl 2 kingdom: u will get more back than u put in - but u should probably log in like once a week to keep it at 100%
crow
Buy stuff to train later on: maybe lots of herbs and seconds and vials logs+bowstrings (or flax) pure ess or normal ess leather ... You'll loose a lot of money, but you will get a skill-level at which you might be able to make more cash
