October 10, 200718 yr I'm thinking of taking a break from runescape for school. I have less then 4 million floating around my account, but I'm a bit worried that the value of gp will drop while I'm away. Anyone have any suggestion on a item (other then rares or treasure trails) to invest in that might increase in value while I'm away.
October 10, 200718 yr Buy a robin or ranger boots because they seem to raise/steady out. I'd just keep the cash since you don't have enough for a "major" rare. Because alot of stuff with drop in price making your gp a bit more useful. My advice sell everything for cash unless u realy want to keep it. Most items lower slowly in price, while rares are usually the only things that rise. So buying something like a whip or barrows armor is a bad choice for a long term investment. I've taken several breaks from Runescape and having cash is always good when getting back. The only really certain investment to increase is a rare. Just clean out your bank - sell what you can and keep essential stuff (like your favourite armour).

October 11, 200718 yr erm he has 4 m - not 400m+... anyways, ranger boots or kingdom of miscellania ranger boots go up cause most treasure trail hunters do lvl 3 scrolls and not lvl 2 kingdom: u will get more back than u put in - but u should probably log in like once a week to keep it at 100%
October 11, 200718 yr Buy stuff to train later on: maybe lots of herbs and seconds and vials logs+bowstrings (or flax) pure ess or normal ess leather ... You'll loose a lot of money, but you will get a skill-level at which you might be able to make more cash
