Tutorial: How to install fonts and brushes

Featured Replies

1. Download the brushes or font of your choice:

Brushes : http://www.deviantart.com

Fonts: http://www.dafont.com

--------------------------------------------------------

2. Then it will pop up a small window like this will appear:

3. Click 'Save' and put it in a place you can remember like, My Documents.

--------------------------------------------------------

4. Open up the place you saved it, now it should be there.

5. Right click on the file then it should be like this:

Note: If yours looks different, still follow the below steps, I am using WinRAR, where as others use WinZIP.

--------------------------------------------------------

6. WinZIP: Right Click>Extract Files, when you do that click ok for everything. Now, it should make an unzipped copy of the folder.

Open that and right click and select 'Copy.

WinRAR: Now simply double click into the file and you should get this:

Now, ignore the '...' most files will do that, and select the other.

Then hit the 'Extract To' button, then it should make the copy unzipped.

Now open the copy and copy the file.

--------------------------------------------------------

7. For fonts, go to: Start>Run>Type in 'Fonts.' Then simply paste your font in.

For brushes: Go to My Computer>Local Disk>Program Files>Then look for whatever program you're using. Usually typing the letter it begins with is helpful>Click that, then follow the line of folders, then go into brushes, and then paste them all in.

And You're Done!

I have that same font also :D. .Rar files can be password protected and compress better than Zip files is the main difference. 8-)
