I've been fighting Warped Tortoise thinking they might provide some Perfect Shells and discovered they drop them IMO a good few times along with other thing i like.

 

 

 

going on 10 hours now in 2 days - I have accumulated 29 perfect shells so far which totals a nice 14.5k crafting exp not bad for spending no money on the skill. along with that I have got over 300 mith ore noted and around 120 addy ore unnoted, 17 rune pickaxes, 5 rune war hammers, 500+ coal, stupid amount of cabbages and a good few hundred law runes, money normal shells (600 gp each), and alot of swamp tar usful for herbloe or for making swamp paste for fishing trawler

 

 

 

All in all i think this is good for 10 hours work

 

 

 

there are safe spots also if you go deeper into the sewer dungeon where the 2 tortoise are around the circle so you need hardly any food except for randoms and getting there if you have no prayer.

what level are they? and are they easy to melee?

Yeah although you got some other good drops you could easily make the cash doing something else to get way more than 14.5k an hour.

Well simply put I dont want to waste money on crafting materials and im not in a rush to climb levels that fast, I kill a few birds with one monster -

 

 

 

Exp for range and magic since theres a safe spot, addy and mith ore with coal drops for smithing, high alch of rune items and others (magic exp) and money, big bones (prayer exp), and being that ill probably get 100 perfect shells before the weekend thats 50k exp to crafting without any money spent.
