So my firefox updated and now I can't see RS anymore. Help please.

Can you explain a bit more? then just "i can't see it"

Well I choose a world and then RS just doesn't appear. All I get is a black screen and firefox says "Done" in the bottom bar.

Do you have the latest version of java?

I think so, I'm installing java now but it says this software is already installed on your computer. I'm reinstalling it anyway though.

Did you erase the runescape cookie by mistake? try making a new account.

 

 

 

why? :o Because jagex put some very stealth files in your computer when you make an account. (very hard to find)

Tried making a new account, didn't work either. All I can see is the bar with links to main menu, world switch, world map...

Maybe you have some addon installed that such as noscript.

 

It blocks everything.

 

And please try to update your firefox to the newest version.

The problems began when I updated firefox...

edit: works fine on IE, so it is indeed a firefox problem, not java.

 

edit2: a second reinstall of firefox fixed it, thanks guys.

Something is blocking the Java applet from executing.

 

 

 

Go to Tools > Options > Content and make sure Java is enabled, also do you run any firefox addons for blocking unwanted content such as adblock? That could possibly be blocking it aswell.

 

 

 

You could also try reinstalling firefox.
