I see it alot - people wanting to swap rather than buy items like Addy bars for mith bars, or runes for other runes or D bones for Big bones etc

 

 

 

I thought it would be great to have a swapping section which would come in useful for people with items they dont want or for people that are short on cash and have item to trade instead.

 

 

 

This does happen in most section but it would be alot more useful to have a seperate section

Well people could just post that they would prefer to swap items in their post. If you want to trade say an Abyssal whip for 200 (4) prayer potions or something random like that then it can be pretty bad.

 

 

 

If you are selling an item and would like items for it, say so for when people read it as even if they have the item you want, they wont want to trade really unless they were looking for the item that you are selling in the first place.

There is really no need for it

Unless swapping items becomes huge, and it's just not random items being swapped, or else you would have:

 

 

 

item 1 for item 2

 

item 1 for item 3

 

item 1 for item 4

 

item 1 for item 5

 

 

 

And if no one wanted any of those items, those threads are quite useless.

 

 

 

Basically until a standardized form of this item is for this item. Like abyssal whip can only be swapped with this item, and this item, if you offer this item, than no.

It's really not necessary, as the marketplace forums don't actually get much traffic in the first place.
