October 21, 200718 yr Yews are alot easier to buy in bulk and you can buy more at one time. I personally use yews for fletching.

October 21, 200718 yr ive used yew longs since 70 (97 atm) ive tried mage longs but its too hard to buy them at price where u dont lose money, yews r easy to buy and u make profit after makin the bows in other words, just use yews
October 21, 200718 yr pretty much what everyone else is saying: Yew longs. Why? easy to buy, easy to sell. Magic longs, if buying logs + strings then selling = loss or breaking even. October 21, 200718 yr Definitely go with yews. Magics are hard to buy, and don't offer any profit. With yews, you can make a decent amount on the way to 99. The higher xp from mages doesn't make much difference, and it's definitely worth sacrificing.
