Well i wanna make a mage staker with this account so i was thinking of what ways to get my mage up quick, i look at MTA and see that you 1,306,000 worth of cosmics too get a mage book, mage books sell for 3.5m ea so i was wondering how much xp per hour this is using dragon stone enchant and mud b staff, because if this is around bout the same xp or more than alching then i'd go for it i mean, why not u get 2.2m profit per mage book ! Am i missing something because i dont really see why anyone would alch if they could do this, please explain to me if i'm wrong because ive calculated at 58.5exp per d stone enchant it would take me 23896 enchants to get me to 82 mage which 5 books and 10m profit, i think something is wroong here so please explain thanks =]

You need more than just echantment points to get a mage book.

The magic exp/hr using dstone enchant in MTA should be slightly lower than alching, I would suggest you stick to alching until 87 before using onyx enchant in MTA.

Hmm i dont mind it being slightly lower if i make quite a bit of profit in the end, could someone explain how i would obtain a mage book, do i like have to have a variety of points or something thanks.

You'll need Enchantment, Telekenic, Graveyard AND Alchemist Pizzaz points.

 

 

 

Enchantment is the fastest xp, the other methodes (except alching) are a lot slower.

yeah I have got infinity hat, gloves and boots from MTA and all xp is fairly slow especially if you use dragonstone method for enchanting. the telekinetic grab is by far the worst and takes ages to get points.

You need points from all 4 areas to buy ANY item in the MTA.

Each cast is assumed to be 1.6 points with onyxs enchant and the max is 16k enchanting points. So about 10k spells will max it out.

If you are only doin' enchant then you can just buy more cosmics with your points.

i could couldnt i,now i read how much it costs for a cosmic it says 0gp profit for onyx enchant!! doesnt that mean free mage xp, correct me if i'm wrong, but it does say 5 enchantment points needed for one cosmic, assuming that u get 1.6 points per cosmic doesnt that equate to 3.125 cosmics per cosmic bought from MTA? so thats wat 468.75 gp per cosmic?

IIRC that guide is done using the dragonstone method which isn't recommended for xp.

Anyway, is it worth it using the onyx enchant method to use my points on cosmics? im assuming it is because i dont plan on getting points in every area that will take ages and lower my experience. so i guess i sahould just spend em on cosmics, so is my calculation using the onyx enchant method correct?
