I've just joinded the forums today and almost instantly recieved a 'new message'

 

 

 

This contains the message "LoL u got pwned in that vid" from somone called 'blackcherry' and a link to a video (something or other.php) This person also joined today.

 

 

 

I find this very suspicious, i have never been in a video as far as i know, never been 'pwned' by anyone, dont know this blackcherry person, who also joined today.

 

 

 

Stupidly i clicked the link but instantly closed it before anything loaded and changed my password copy and paste style straight away, dont know what i was thinking.

 

 

 

So within an hour of signing up i've been spent a link for what i'm pretty sure is a keylogger of some kind!! Shocking, i'm very disapointed.

Don't change your pass BEFORE you get rid of the logger(if there is one). Virus scan, have it removed, THEN change your pass.

Thank the lord I have a virus protection which, today, actually stopped 10 trojans (which i downloaded without knowledge).In 5 seconds it had scanned them out...then I deleted the files.

delete is your friend. note to self: never open links from anonymous users.

I have recieved a couple of these PM's from users reporting this user. If you would, please send me an exact copy of the PM so I can investigate.

 

 

 

Until then, if any of you recieve this message, forward it to an Admin/A mod so we can take care of it.
