(I have posted this to RS forums twice but when you have to sleep and go to work after that, the thread is likely to disappear)

 

 

 

 

 

Approval rating 100% - macros - multiloggers - lazy skillers (read the suggestion)

 

 

 

There'd be like 90% less macros for like a year. Even after there'd be 80% less macros.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So currently there is a serious problem in all f2p worlds. At peak times with 2000 players in a w u can see 50 macros just on minimap running the route from Sarim to bank. That means there are sometimes ~1000 macros in some worlds!!

 

 

 

As JAGeX has stated "They are lv 3 for the fact they ARE new"... The problem is that it is too easy to make those lv 3. My suggestion would change it so that it would take tens of hours to create just 1 macro, meaning no more mass macroing. This would not remove all macros but most.

***F2P WOODCUT***

 

 

 

ATM only the 2 yews in edgeville are being cut by non-macro players. This is why it doesn't really matter to normal players what is done with the other f2p yews so here is the solution:

 

 

 

--> Create a new fenced area next to champion guild AND MOVE ALL EXEPT FOR THE 2 YEWS IN EDGEVILLE THERE

 

--> Requires 32 QP to access (champion guild req.)

 

OR Requires 250 NONCOMBAT total level to access (there are 8 noncombat f2p skills so ud need about 31 in all)

 

--> For the EDGEVILLE YEWS there would be the same requirements (would be less yews, but closer to bank)

 

 

 

 

 

Good sides:

 

- all yews are near -> no running between the trees

 

- wcing would be a social event

 

- no more unused yews around world map (or macro-used)

 

- even tho a bit further from bank ppl would save loads of time time chopping them

 

- NO MORE LV 3 MASS-MACROING

 

 

 

Bad sides:

 

- those who want to wc them have to spend a few hours with quests or skills

 

- lvl 3 skillers must actually train skills [WC only pures don't really exist for a) drop trading to main is not

 

allowed B) or the user is multilogging]

***F2P FISHING & SHARK FISHING & MINING GUILD***

 

 

 

- Add a wooden gate to access f2p lobby pier

 

- SAME REQUIREMENTS for the gate than the yews would have

 

 

 

- Remove shark spots from Catherby (if you can fish sharks, you can enter fishing guild)

 

- SAME REQUIREMENTS for the fishing guild door than the yews would have

 

 

 

- SAME REQUIREMENTS for mining guild.

- Add 300 noncombat requirement to craft natures (15 skills, 20 in all)

- you should have 33% chance of getting some small random (such as "type the letters") when being teleported to ess or when entering the flax field. Answer wrong 3 times and you get teled away.

 

- Mining level should effect mining speed more; at 50 u should have the same speed u have now but at 99 doubled compared to the current 99.

Arguments for my idea:

 

 

 

If a macro has ~a month of lifetime before getting banned, the person would have to work with quests every day and still run only ~10 macros (finishing quests takes some time and skills).

 

 

 

You try finishing the same quests 8 hours a day every day.

Some parts I agree...some parts I don't.

 

 

 

The problem with most of your suggestions is that there are so many ways around it, for example, the Nature rune autoers, most of them already have 300+ totals cause of the reqs to get the fairy rings.

 

Also, getting 250 total, i do not believe is a hard accomplishment when using a "macro"...because it technically takes no work at all!

 

 

 

However, I think the suggestion to move all shark spots to the fishing guild is a good one.

Bots all dont go on yews, they go on things such as ores and fishing, they affect members alot. One thing to get rid of the average bot in f2p is simple, make max level requirement too 50, not 99. It will make bots either join member, live off of other resources, or loose companies and die out.

~There are tons of bots that have done Quests. Nature Rune Autoers and Green Dragon Autoers typically will have higher total levels of atleast 250. All they really need to do is add a new fence or door every month around the heavily botted places (flax, yews, Eyes of Newt, Willows, etc.) and the botting programs will be completely messed up. Then the Jagex Mods come in and ban them; it's as simple as that.~

This will not end botter's.

 

Botter's will get skills level up very fast.

 

Somemore if you want to stop them from fishing lobster, mining ores, cutting yew logs and crafting nature runes, they will just change it to something else like buying eye of newts, mining iron ores, fish some other type other than lobster, cutting oak logs or willow logs and crafting death runes or law runes.
