Achieved 80 Strength (F2P)!

After almost 2 whole months of being in the Stronghold of Security I reached my goal of 80 Strength fighting the Flesh Crawlers (I started at 70 Strength). I'm sure to some of you that sounds like way too long to just go up 10 levels, but take into consideration that I played 2-3 hours per day. I honestly can't believe I actually stuck with my goal and did absolutely nothing else but slash away at Flesh Crawlers for nearly 2 months.

Just in case you're curious, here's a little run-down of everything:

DATE STARTED: Monday, September 10, 2007

DATE COMPLETED: Thursday, November 1, 2007

Starting Experience: 760,120

Experience Needed to Level 80: 1,225,996

Finishing Experience: 1,986,068

Starting Level: 70

Starting Combat Level: 81

Finishing Combat Level: 85

Total Coins Accumulated: 77,243 (yes, I picked up every coin they dropped just to see how much I could make)

Flesh Crawlers Killed: 12,260 ...I didn't realize it was that much :ohnoes:

Anyway, this is nothing compared to achieving a level 99 combat stat, but for me this was a pretty big goal (especially being F2P).

Rate or hate; either way I want to thank you for taking the time to look at my post! \'

Have a good one,

Gratz, 80 Strength pretty cool, but If you intend to get higher then it still remains the best spot in f2p.

A little info:

I've trained my attack from 30 to 80s and strength from 30s to 90s so I highly recommend it.

Total Level 2247- 11x 99s All Combat Skills, Slayer, Summoning, Woodcutting, Herblore

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Yeah, I plan to continue training all my melee combat stats on the Flesh Crawlers. Maybe next time I'll grab all of the Body Runes to see how many I can get (although they'll be really hard to sell).

I was debating whether or not I should try the Spiders on the lower levels of the Stronghold of Security, but from what I understand they don't drop anything. I guess I'll just stick with Flesh Crawlers.

Thanks again.

spiders are faster xp, but no drops and use a lot more food.
