November 5, 200718 yr anyone heard of them, like them, seen them? I love them to bits. Probably one of the best bands i've ever heard, so unique and chilled - anyone like 'em? :)
November 5, 200718 yr I love them - they're fantastic. For some reason, I find instrumental music (and as such most post-rock bands) to be more emotive than anything with vocals or lyrics - perhaps that's because they are only able to create mood through sound rather than language. They succeed at that more than virtually any other group of musicians I can think of. I've got The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place, and intend to complete the collection soon. I really hope that they come here soon, or that I can somehow miraculously go to an All Tomorrow's Parties, which they'll probably be on again soon. I'd advise anyone interested to check out 'Your Hand In Mine' and 'Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean'.

November 5, 200718 yr Yea, I got into them a year or three ago I think. And I've got Those who tell the truth and the earth is not a cold dead place. I haven't listened to their other stuff, but I really like it. I don't listen to it much though, got to have the right moment. November 5, 200718 yr I've got The Earth is Not A Cold Dead Place, but I'm not crazy about it. It's only for a certain mood I think, one which I'm either not in very often, or have something I'd prefer to listen to. La lune ne garde aucune rancune.
