maybe you should try the gnome stronghold or the gnome maze :-w

These gnome robe tops can be bought from the Fine Fashions store in the Gnome Stronghold Tree. These robes come in many colors, such as: Green, Cream, Turquoise, Blue, and Pink.

the guy is on the same floor as the bank in the big tree, to the far north of the central ladder. make sure you get the green one and not the turquoise one.. sounds silly, but i've made that mistake before.

You can examine the robes before buying and it will tell you its color in the examine statement. That way you get the right one if you are unsure if its the right color since you are a guy and not following colors closely.
