Ive started a Woodcutting shop for selling logs but i have a goal to get 1 wc lvl each day until 99 (64 atm gonna get 65 today), and i get a lots of willows/maples left, i have ABOUT 1k willows and 1k maples atm and i was thinking about fletching em cause i need cash and i thought if i get high fletch would i be able to make the cash back? L2p_Muffin Posted November 9, 2007 Share Posted November 9, 2007 Once you get into the yews you'll start making money.. with willows and maples I'm not too sure, if I had to guess, I'd say no. I personally would fletch them because Yew Longs == money! Chazimcgee Posted November 9, 2007 Share Posted November 9, 2007 If you are getting 90 hunter then you won't need cash so with willows all the way to 99 woodcutting but only use willows or maples to get 70 fletch, otherwise its painfully slow. Yohbilleh Posted November 9, 2007 Share Posted November 9, 2007 I think you should get 99 fletching with it to trim your wc cape when you get it so you should start cutting yews now and fletch them into bows Ive done some calculations and you will need about 90000 yew longs made for 99 fletching, if you cut all of those you will get 99 woodcutting aswell. EDIT: I also have a tip. Your going for these 99s which is a really long and enduring thing to do. So if your woodcutting and you say to yourself "I want to go Fishing/Fighting etc" dont go "NO I must get 99 in this!" just go and do it. Umoria Posted November 9, 2007 Share Posted November 9, 2007 You can make some money with fletching. Although it is an advice to fletch Yews. That is were the big money is. Cutting yews is a slow process however. So if you want 99 wc, cut willows/maples. When you are 99, go fletching. Start with the willows and maples, and then go to the yews for the money. With 91 woodcut and D axe i can cut about 250 logs per hour, which is only 7k experience per hour less than what i can get with willows, but its way more money Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I havent tried yews yet, but i dont think 150 yews an hour is worth it... i will wc for cash after 90+ until then i will only do willows and possibly some maples... Im 6k exp from 65 and i guess im gonna get 1 str/attack level and 1 wc level each day then after that i do what ever i want.
