so if your muted you ant merchant or buy things from people so dont you think the grand exchange will solve that problem for the muted

Duh, then it would be pointless to be muted.

 

 

 

IMO grand exchange will help everyone. We won't have to spend endless hours standing in crowded areas spamming the same thing over and over.

Being muted isn't just a punishment - it's to prevent you from continuing to abuse other players.

 

 

 

Since that isn't possible via trading, I imagine it will be available to muted players (it's no different than trading someone who says "selling santa 24M", putting up 24M, and accepting).

As much as I personally believe that it will be available to muted players I still wouldnt put it past jagex to nerf that somehow.

 

 

 

Say it came out and they realised how easy it was for these muted players to trade and whatnot with other unmuted players that they then took the ability for muted people to trade, but only view the grand exchange.

 

 

 

And left it something along the lines of the way the forums are, players both members and non alike could still contact you ingame but just couldnt reply to your post on the RSOF.

 

 

 

The above happening would just make me laugh, and I cant say that it isnt unlikely. Except of course im thinking jagex wont put that much thought into it.
