Well as the title says, here is my newest manip. I haven't had much time to work on things due to school and college apps, but I managed to grab a shot of this butterfly on the flower and decided it was a good candidate for a manip sig. It was a somewhat simple manip, took about an hour and a half, but imo still turned out quite nice.

 

Anyways, c/c as well are suggestions would be nice. :) Especially on the text... I don't like the way it looks at all.

I have to agree, the text doesn't fit very well, but the rest of the manipulation looks great.

 

 

 

Colours are great. You make great manipulations, as well as take great photographs.

I love the cartoon effect on the flower and the butterfly. And I actually think the text suits the design. :)

Ya I'm starting to actually like the text more, but I still don't completely like it yet.

Just for some clarification, the area where the text is located is just genius.

 

 

 

The actual text seems scrunched or expanded in some areas.

If you're not sure about text, try the bottom left corner, thats where the signature is least busy.

 

Now onto the manipulation.

 

You sure can pentool, I can *mildly* do it.

 

With the sparks brush you added a special effect to it.

Wow the stock image is hell of an nice catch. ;)

The photo is better than the manip in my opinion.

 

 

 

The pen tool is nice, but its... unnecissary, it comes out of nowhere.

 

Maybe you could use the pentool to let the butterfly/flower stand out more.

 

I am being distracted by the text (which is a bit too big IMO) and the red pentool.

 

 

 

I think its a nice manip, but it could use improvement. Maybe you could work on the framing too, center the butterfly. :wink:

The actual photograph is lightyears beyond that 'manipulation' (I use that term loosely for this piece).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Its just too busy and too contrasted for me in the manip, the actual photo is very good.
