i was wondering what dragons to kill should i go for black i will be getting 70 ag this weekend and should i go for blacks or blues?

 

 

 

i will be ranging them

 

 

 

also should i use mycrystal bow or sapp and emmy tipped bolts

 

 

 

and where should i go for either of the drags?

 

 

 

is the evil chickens layer usually crowded?

well, with your ranged lvl, and perhaps a pot, you can easily do blacks. heck, i did blacks at 70 ranged. I switched to hallying though. easier for me...

Black dragons would be nicer considering the chance of a visage drop, but at 80 range, I feel blue dragons would be much more effective. If you have 70 agility, I would suggest sticking with blues for the time being. At 90 range and 80 agility, you could do very well at the black dragons. You can even start now, but it will be much slower, and you will lose many more bolts.

Firstly, range blacks with emmy (e) bolts or addy bolts (not enchanted or tipped just plain addy.

 

 

 

Bury bones and Keep the hides, the hides pay for all the bolts you use. And if you get a visage, d med, left half, or anything else of that nature it helps pay for bolts as well.

 

 

 

If you want to keep the bones too, then you can definatly pay for the bolts, hell you can pay for diamond (e) ones, you will only do less runs per trip. But trips will go by faster so who knows.

 

 

 

BTW, I am doing black right now at evil chicken lair and there is barely anyone there. 1 person in any spot in the crowded worlds (6,12,18). Still plenty of room.

lol i still have to do 1 more quest for regicide and ill do it but can i use a crystal bow because i just bought 1 for 900k?

Oh my fault m8 =P.

 

 

 

I used a cbow here when DFS's first came out. It was pretty fast kills, but the "suicide charge" resulted in me losing a ton of stuff including a guthix d'hide body. .

 

 

 

If ur gonna use a cbow watch out for the "suicide charge"

The "suicide charge" is when your crystal bow runs out of charges and turns back into a seed.

 

 

 

Since you have no more bow to range with, therefore you HAVE to melee, so you charge at the dragon punching or kicking, whichever attack style its on. Now of course you won't kill a black dragon by kicking or punching it to death. Unless it had 5 hps left or so.

 

 

 

The "suicide charge" can be avoided by paying attention. Its not that big a deal. It just so happened that I had to run out of the room while killing a drag and my bow ran out so I charged the drag fists blazin, and well you know the rest.

dunno if u want to train with a cbow, i used to use a cbow at blues (im down to 180k) and i dont really think its worth it. im now back to using steel arrows, and i kill blues almost the same rate. if u want to kill blk dragons it will be long and boring. ive been killing blues since 70 ranged, i keep both hide and bones. i craft blue bodies and alc, and i use bone on my altar, great profit and xp.

I'd say a rune c bow with addy bolts is much more cost effacient then crystal bow, also faster.

 

 

 

But! if you want a crystal and maybe get it down to 180k it's good to use them on blues.

 

 

 

As others stated above blue drags are far better for you.
