Well, I'm f2p player atm, and I need something to merch. I got 5m cash, and I need tips what to merch.

 

 

 

I know there are merchanting guides, but the most of their prices are wrong, so I choosed to ask here.

All you need to do is find people selling items for low prices, buy them and sell the items for higher than you bought.

Firstly, the guides to merching arn't there for you to know prices they are there for you to get a ideas as to what to merch and how to merch it.

 

 

 

It's your job to find and figure out prices.

I mean I understand the guy who was a pure but this guy just wants ideas on merching. What do you have some built up anger toward pures and merchs? I want to merch alot of the time and I use my stats... merchanting was faster moeny though.

 

 

 

If you don't have advice on the topic of discussion, then why post? For post count or to make people feel like crap?

On topic, basically buying low and selling high is the premise. For F2P you could merch; God sets/pieces, ores, bars, rune sets/pieces, etc. Probably check an up to date price guide before you buy some items.

I keep saying that because RS was made for you to use your skills, not stand around spamming the same message 1000s of times. For some reason everyone is under the impression that merching is fast and easy money. It is not. There are many better ways to make money that involve using your skills. If you want some merching advice, then go and try buying cheap flax or coal, just like all the other 'merchants.' -.- -.-

It's really very simple my friend. Basic rule Buy cheap, sell high. Personally I do some world hopping. For example I go to a Law running world and buy 1K laws for 320k(Good price) ,then sell off a bit at a time anywhere from 1k ea to 3k ea depending on how bad someone needs them.If I want to sell off more than a few, I offer deals, such as 5 for 4k.Always someone around.You make a nice little profit and don't screw anyone.

Evil is right, this game was made to use skills the game offered.

When people ask questions like this they want a sure thing. They don't want to lose cash, but unfortunately in any sort of risky venture there is no sure thing.

 

 

 

I do not spend my time merchanting, but I do take up good deals if I happen to see them in banks when I'm in there. If you see someone selling logs or ores for a few hundred less then people normally buy them for, then get them- even if you do not sell them right away. It's not about getting discounts on rune medium helms in the thousands and selling them right away to make millions, it is about carefully buying and selling when you see the oppurtunity.
