November 24, 200718 yr Catching 100 rats.I'm currently trying to catch 100 rats for the varrock medium tasks (medium? Hah!). Anyway, how do you know how many you've caught? Goals to get my skills back up to a barely respectable level on the high scores: Currently going for Bone to Peaches spell. It's amazing how boring doing the same repetitive task is! Stupid MTA
November 24, 200718 yr Once you have caught 100 rats I think a message comes up telling you that and to get the cat training medal from Gertrude. I'm pretty sure this is correct but someone please correct me if I'm wrong :-k
November 24, 200718 yr it tells you when youve caught 100. to me, i found the best place to be the west wall of lumbridge castle (within the outer walls, but not inside the castle). theres always like 10-15 rats a time there.

This might be good but I think the rats need to be caught in Varrock in order to complete the medium task for the Varrock diary.

November 24, 200718 yr you get a message for every 10, then 50, then 100 =D well.. go to varrock sewers to get the rap pole and go to evil dave's basement for hellrats, they're treated like regular rats so if you catch 94 *take out 6 cause I think you need regular for the rat pole*, you'll still be able to get the message You are not alone, Our Father, God will always be with you.
November 24, 200718 yr This might be good but I think the rats need to be caught in Varrock in order to complete the medium task for the Varrock diary. iirc the task is actually "get a cat medal" not "catch 100 rats", so i don't think it matter so long as you can cash in for a cat medal.
