First of all I am very mad at Jagex right now. Not about the update, but about something to deal with the update.

 

 

 

I spent 250k to buy a set of splitbark armor.

 

The minute i get it i right click on it and go to use it on the grand exhange clerk. Instead I hit destroy and with no fair warning the set is gone with a message in my chat box saying "This is silly to destroy. Just exchange it with a GE operator to get the armor set."

 

 

 

I go to exchange to get it and low and behold....It's as if I never bought it. No set to get back and a 250k loss.

 

 

 

Be careful about armor sets so this doesn't happen to you...Especially on 3rd Age :ohnoes:

Destroy removes the box and drops the armor on the floor. Make sure to pick it up!

Well there are about 200 ppl standing in my spot so I guess it's my loss.

That seems like something you should mention to Jagex themselves, it's probably some mistake or something they just didn't think of.

 

 

 

Hopefully not too many people accidentally do that.

it says it in the knowledge base i heard, and i had the same problem but i did this thing where i clicked "set" on the GE and it turned it back into armor.

thats how its supposed to be done....I bought another set and did it right this time. But seriously it should have a warning like all other destroys.

If they can hold our hand for luring with a ditch and trading warning. They should do this to destory with the boxes.
